Wallace E. Miller is the owner/operator of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with locations in Somerset and Rockwood, PA.
He is a 1975 graduate of Somerset Area High School where he was the 2 time PIAA District V high jump champion in 1974 and 1975. He was also a 2 year letterman on the varsity basketball team. He was a trumpet player in the Somerset High School Band and was selected to the County Band in 1973 and 1974. He was also a member of the school’s chorus where he was selected for the boy’s ensemble and the Somerset High School Touring Choir. He is a 1979 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA, B.A. degree in Political Science, a 1980 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, and received an Honorary Doctorate degree in 2002 from Mt. Aloysius College
He was elected Coroner of Somerset County in November of 1997 and is currently serving in his 4th term in office. He had served as Deputy Coroner for 16 years from 1981-1997.

Wallace coaches basketball and track in the Somerset School District, as he has since 1995, and frequently speaks on forensic, funeral, and coroner-related topics for civic groups and schools throughout Somerset County.
Wallace is a member of St. Peter’s Church in Somerset. He enjoys Penguins Hockey, Blues, Fusion and Brazilian Jazz, Reggae, and ‘70’s Rock Music, vegetarian cuisine, working out, and spending time with Arlene and their dog Meishka.
